SRH’s core team looking solid as they keep Heinrich Klassen (INR 23 crore), Pat Cummins (INR 18 crore), Abhishek Sharma (INR 14 crore), Travis Head (INR 14 crore) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (UNR 6 crore). So far Klassen is the most valuable player for IPL 2025.
Combination Of Batter and All-rounders
Klassen, Sharma, Head known for their batting abilities in shorter format of cricket. Cummins and Reddy will have to play their role as all-rounders. Arguably Sunrisers Hyderabad has selected strongest possible 6 players retention list among all ten teams. The team has a combination of proven up-front batters and allrounders. BCCI allowed team to spent a total of INR 120 crore to rebuild their squad. SRH spent INR 75 crore already to leave INR 45 crore in-hand.

They will have to acquire some Indian talents for bowling department. It will be interesting to see whether SRH participate in a biding war for Arshdeep Singh or not. SRH had Bhubaneshwar Kumar who left out from their retention players list. Another thing is that Hyderabad hold all five capped players. In the-allrounder segment SRH had Washington Sundar, who is one of his finest form against New Zealand now. The Hyderabad base had very few options as uncapped impactful player.
