Kharna: November 6, 2024
On this day, women observe fast for the whole day, and in the evening, they prepare the prasad of guru Kheer on a clay stove. This is done to worship the Sun God. After this, the Parana of the fast is done only after the conclusion of Chhath.
First Arghya in the evening – November 7, 2024
The next day of Kharna, women stand in a river or pond and offer arghya to the Sun God in the evening.
Chhath festival ends: November 8, 2024
Chhath is concluded the following morning in Kharna. Today, women offer arghya to the rising Sun God, conclude the puja and break their fast.
